Saint Clair Family Estate is owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson, two of Marlborough's earliest vineyard pioneers, who planted their first vines in 1978. The Saint Clair name originates from the main vineyard property, which was originally settled by the 'Sinclair' family. The winery is family-owned and managed by the Ibbotson family. Their wines have won considerable international acclaim and this winery boasts one of the fullest gold medal and trophy cabinets in New Zealand.
